When the boat's rockin'...

You'll probably get seasick.

But really. Examples of the craziness:
1) Drawers are swinging open around me.
2) The TV keeps moving and turning on it's little rotating plate. (I think they're called lazy Susans.)
3) You can't walk up stairs with going in a zig-zag from one side to the other.
4) People are being lifted out of their beds from the extreme rocking.
5) I can hear stuff on the desk and in the bathroom falling off and moving around.
6) Even I am part of the huge majority of people wearing some form of seasickness patch or bracelet of some sort.

and the biggest - 7) Today during lunch it was a little rockier than usual. At one point the view out of the huge back window in the dining room made it look as though the deck was at a 45 degree angle. At one point, all of the cups and pitchers went flying off of the counters and some tables. Also, the waves legitimately knocked a guy and his chair over.

Aside from this madness and attempting to study in the rocky conditions, this is SUCH a blast. so many incredible people and brilliant professors. I'm lovin' it!

But I'll be so glad to be on land once we've done this. Plus it's smoother sailing once we've crossed the Atlantic.

Later, kids.
